Logging in

To access our online subscription resources you need to be a library member. You will be asked for your your user name:

This is your libary card barcode number - not your normal first and last names; it starts with the letter "m".
NOTE: Some logins are case sensitive - always enter your barcode number with the letter "m" in lower case
Logging into Science Journals:
Enter “qldl” followed immediately by your barcode number. NOTE: this must be in lower case

Authentication Error

If you get an authentication error message like this when trying to get into the Science Journals, you need to edit your security settings to ensure you can accept cookies on your computer.

Internet Explorer 6.0 / 7.0
   1. Open I.E. Click Tools at the top
   2. Click Internet Options
   3. Click the Privacy tab
   4. Click the Advanced button.
   5. Check Override automatic cookie handling.
   6. Check Always allow session cookies, then click OK.
   7. Click OK.

Firefox 2.0
   1. Open Firefox
   2. Click Tools at the top
   3. Click Options
   4. Click the Privacy icon.
   5. Click the Cookies heading.
   6. Check Accept cookies from sites.
   7. Click OK

Firefox 1.0 for MAC
   1. Open Firefox
   2. Click Firefox at the top
   3. Click Preferences...
   4. Click the Privacy icon.
   5. Click the Cookies tab.
   6. Check Allow sites to set Cookies.
   7. Close Preferences box.

Safari 2.0.3
   1. Open Safari
   2. Click Safari at the top
   3. Click Preferences...
   4. Click the Security icon.
   5. In the Accept Cookies area, select Always.
   6. Close Preferences box.
